How to use the Aim Trainer
Precise, fast mouse movement is a core skill in shooters, strategy games and even everyday design work. This aim trainer measures how quickly and accurately you can move to targets and click them.
Choose a target size, press Start, and click the circle as it appears. Each time you hit a target, a new one appears somewhere else in the arena. You have 30 seconds. Clicks that miss the target count against your accuracy. When time is up you will see how many targets you hit, your accuracy, your misses, your targets per second and your average time per target.
To improve, start with larger targets and focus on accuracy, then speed up. Move your whole arm for big jumps and your wrist for small adjustments. Keep your eyes on the next target as you click the current one, and avoid squeezing the mouse too tightly. A sensible mouse sensitivity helps: if you constantly overshoot, try lowering it a little.
Results depend on your mouse, screen size and sensitivity, so use the same setup when comparing scores. On touch screens, tapping works too. The arena resizes to your screen and nothing is saved or sent anywhere.
