Gem Swap
Swap sparkling gems to make lines of three and chain combos before the 60-second clock runs out.
How to use: Tap a gem and then a neighbour to swap them (or swipe). Lines of three or more pop. You have 60 seconds.
How to play Gem Swap
Gem Swap is a match-three puzzle on an eight-by-eight board. Swap two gems that sit next to each other so that three or more of the same kind line up in a row or a column. The matched gems pop, the gems above fall into the gaps and new gems drop in from the top.
Tap or click one gem and then a neighbouring gem to swap them, or simply swipe a gem in the direction you want it to move. With a keyboard, click the board, move the highlight with the arrow keys, press Enter to pick a gem and an arrow key to swap it. A swap that does not make a line is not allowed. Every gem has its own shape as well as its own colour, so the game works well for colour-blind players too.
Each popped gem is worth 10 points, lines longer than three give a bonus, and falling gems that form new lines start a combo that multiplies your points. The 60-second clock starts on your first swap. If the board ever runs out of possible moves it is shuffled automatically.
Look near the bottom of the board first, because matches there make more gems fall and are more likely to trigger combos.
