How to play Memory Match
Memory Match, sometimes called Concentration, tests how well you remember where things are. Every card has a partner. Turn over two cards on each move; if they match, they stay face up, and if not, they flip back. Clear the board by finding all the pairs.
Choose a board size from the menu: 12 cards for a quick warm-up, 16 for a standard game, 24 for a challenge or 36 for an expert test. The game counts your moves and the time taken, and a message appears when you finish. A new shuffle is dealt every time, so the layout is never the same.
To play well, flip cards methodically at the start to gather information, and then use your memory of what you have seen. Try to remember positions by their row and column, or invent a short story linking the symbols you have seen. A perfect game on a 16-card board takes eight moves, but that needs luck; anything under twelve is excellent.
Memory games are popular for children and adults alike because they are relaxing and exercise short-term memory and concentration. They are not a medical treatment, but they make a fun daily habit. The game uses emoji symbols, so it needs no downloads and works on any device.
