How to use the Photo to PDF Scanner
A phone photo of a document is usually tilted, has a dark background around it and grey shadows across the paper. This scanner fixes all three in your browser, so the result looks like it came out of a flatbed scanner, and it never uploads your pages.
Tap Take a photo to open the rear camera, or add several images at once. The tool tries to find the page edges by itself; if it misses, drag the four round handles onto the corners of the paper. The page is then flattened with a perspective correction, so a sheet photographed at an angle becomes a straight rectangle.
Pick a scan filter for each page. Black & white document compares every pixel with its neighbourhood, which removes shadows and makes text crisp for contracts, forms and homework. Enhanced colour brightens the paper and boosts faded colours for receipts and drawings. Brightness and contrast fine-tune the result, and one button applies the filter to every page.

How do I get the sharpest scan of a document?
Lay the page on a dark, flat surface in good, even light, hold the phone straight above it, and choose the Black & white document filter with High resolution. Avoid using the flash, which creates a bright spot.
What is the difference between this and Image to PDF?
