How to play Worm Arena

Worm Arena is an arena game in the style of popular online snake games, but you play against nine computer worms, so it works offline and with no account. Your worm keeps moving forward and follows your pointer. Eat the glowing dots scattered across the huge arena to grow longer and climb the leaderboard.

Steer by moving your mouse or dragging your finger in the direction you want to go, or use the left and right arrow keys. To boost, hold the mouse button, hold Space or the up arrow, press and hold the Boost button, or touch with a second finger. Boosting makes you much faster but shrinks you slowly and leaves a trail of dots behind.

The golden rule: if your head touches another worm’s body, you are out. The same is true for the computer worms, so the best way to win is to cut in front of a rival and let it crash into you. A crashed worm turns into a pile of big dots that you can eat. Hitting the red border also ends your game. Your score is the length you reached.

Circle around smaller worms to trap them, and use the minimap to find quieter areas when the arena gets crowded.
