How to play Archery

Archery puts you on a sunny practice range with ten arrows. Each round a target appears at a new distance and height, and a wind flag shows which way the breeze is blowing and how strongly. Arrows fly in a realistic arc: gravity pulls them down and the wind pushes them sideways along their flight.

Press anywhere on the game, drag backward and down like pulling a bowstring, and release to shoot. The direction of your drag sets the angle, and the length sets the power, shown in the small bar in the corner. With a keyboard, use the up and down arrows to aim, hold Space to draw the bow and let go to fire.

The target has ten rings. The yellow centre scores 10, and each ring further out scores one point less, down to 1 for the outer white ring. Missing scores nothing. Ten arrows give a maximum of 100 points. After the first few arrows the wind can get stronger, so keep an eye on the flag.

If an arrow lands low, add a little power or raise your angle; if the wind is blowing toward the target, use slightly less power.
