Astro Quest: Platformer Adventure

Guide a little astronaut through three pixel worlds full of coins, keys, spikes and critters.

How to use: Run with ◀ ▶ (or A and D), jump with ↑, W, Space or the Jump button. Stomp enemies from above and reach the flag.

How to play Astro Quest

Astro Quest is a side-scrolling platform adventure in charming pixel art. You play a small astronaut who has landed on a strange planet and must cross three worlds to get home. Each world ends with a flag. Along the way there are coins to collect, crates to climb, spikes to avoid and little critters that walk or fly.

Run left and right with the arrow keys or A and D, and jump with the up arrow, W or Space. Hold the jump key for a higher jump and tap it for a short hop. On a phone or tablet, use the large ◀ ▶ and Jump buttons under the game. Jump on top of a critter to defeat it for 25 points, but touching one from the side costs a life.

You have three lives, shown as hearts. Falling into a pit, touching spikes or bumping an enemy sends you back to the start of the world. In worlds two and three a golden key is hidden somewhere; grab it to open the locked gate before the flag. Coins are worth 10 points, each world cleared gives 100, and finishing quickly adds a time bonus.

Explore the high platforms: they usually hold extra coins and sometimes the key.
