How to use the Meme Generator
A meme is a picture with a short, punchy caption, traditionally in a heavy white font with a black outline at the top and bottom. This generator recreates that classic look and lets you change every detail, so you can make reaction images, team jokes, classroom examples or social posts in a few seconds.
Upload any picture from your device, or skip that step and use the blank background with your own colour. Type the top and bottom lines; long captions wrap automatically to fit the width. The text size is set as a percentage of the image width, so it looks the same on small and large pictures.
Change the text and outline colours, make the outline thicker for busy photos or remove it completely, and switch uppercase off if you prefer normal capitals. The preview updates as you type. When it looks right, download a JPG for sharing or a PNG for the crispest text.
