How to use the Online Notepad
Sometimes you just need a blank page: a place to paste a snippet, list some ideas or draft a message without opening a heavy app. This notepad gives you exactly that, and it keeps your words safe between visits.
Start typing in the box. Everything is saved automatically a moment after you stop, and the status line confirms when it is done. You have five separate notes, accessible from the tabs above, so you can keep a shopping list, a to-do list and a draft apart. A dot next to a tab name shows that the note contains text. The counter shows words and characters.
Privacy and storage: notes are stored in your browser’s local storage on this device only. They are never uploaded, which means they will not appear on other devices or browsers, and clearing your browser data, or using private browsing, will erase them. Because of that, treat this as a scratchpad, not a vault: download the note as a text file if it is important, and never store passwords or other secrets here.
Use Download to save the current note as a plain .txt file, Copy all to place the text on your clipboard and Clear to empty the note after a confirmation. The notepad works offline once the page has loaded.
