How to play Cubeland
Cubeland is a first-person voxel sandbox. Every world is made of blocks, grass, dirt, stone, sand, wood, leaves, glass, bricks, planks and more, and every world is generated from a seed, with rolling hills, sandy beaches, lakes, forests and caves to find underground. There is no goal except the one you set yourself.
On a computer, click the game to capture the mouse, look around by moving it, walk with W A S D and jump with Space. Left-click breaks the block you are looking at and right-click places the block selected in the hotbar. Pick a block with the number keys 1 to 9 or the mouse wheel. On a phone, use the joystick to walk, drag on the right to look, and the ⛏ and 🧱 buttons to break and place.
Creative mode gives you every block and lets you fly: press F or ✈, then use Space and Shift (or the ⤒ and ⤓ buttons) to go up and down. Survival-lite mode adds digging time, so harder blocks take longer to break, and you collect the blocks you dig into your inventory and can only place what you have.
The sun rises and sets every few minutes, and the world gets darker at night. Cubeland has three save slots, and your changes are saved in your browser automatically, so you can come back to your builds later.
Frequently asked questions
Is my world saved?
Yes. Up to three worlds are saved in your browser on this device, including every block you break or place.
What is the difference between the modes?
Creative gives you unlimited blocks, instant breaking and flying. Survival-lite makes you dig blocks to collect them before you can place them.
Will it run on my phone?
Yes. Cubeland uses a smaller world and lower resolution on slower devices, and it has touch controls for walking, looking, breaking and placing.
